One of the biggest issues I see in schools are the lack of interst that our children seem to have. I must say that I cannot blame them, however knowledge is so very important.
A solution I have to this issue is my program Life is Fair, where children come together and take knowledge into their own hands. They will speak in front of audiences, raise money for their college funds, and go out into the community to eradicate homelessness.
Also, I feel that more things of the Afrocentric genre should be incorporated into our schools. Why? Children are attracted to things that look like them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this: they ARE beautiful!!
Also, would it not be prudent to encourage the children rather than holler at them until the veins protrude from our necks? Yes it would!!
When I was a child, we would be forced to eat in the dark and not talk. Communication is so key!!
What is Your take on this?
Life is fair;
ignorance is misery;
knowledge is eternal.
